CPO pass RM3000 per tonne

Palm oil advanced to more than RM3,000 (US$963) a metric ton for the first time since 2008.

The most-active contract gained as much as 1.2 per cent to RM3,021 a ton on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange. Palm oil is the world’s cheapest and most consumed edible oil.
